The game in a draw against Arsenal
Thierry Henry climbed off the bench to earn Arsenal a point in a tempestuous north London derby after Robbie Keane had given Spurs a controversial lead. Tottenham finished with 10 men after Edgar Davids was sent off for a second bookable offence. But they will be happier with the result because they remain four points ahead of the Gunners as the race for fourth place reaches its climax. Arsenal have a game in hand, but after this draw, they may have to win the European Cup to ensure Champions League football next season

Jermain Defoe looked to have rescued a point for Spurs when he volleyed home after 79 minutes in only his second league start of the campaign but Laursen had the final say with his fifth goal of the campaign.

The great 5-1 win of Spurs
Robbie Keane and Tom Huddlestone were at the double as Tottenham brushed aside Fulham in convincing fashion. The 5-1 defeat means Fulham have now gone 15 months, three managers and 26 away games since a victory on the road. Lilywhites were defeated by Arsenal
Arsenal won a bruising, breathless and ultimately brilliant North London derby at Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The winner arrived 15 minutes from time when Nicklas Bendtner came off the bench to power home a close-range header with his first touch. However that had come shortly after Manuel Almunia had prevented Tottenham taking a surprise lead by turning aside Robbie Keane's penalty. And that had only happened after Dimitar Berbatov had expertly equalised Emmanuel Adebayor's strike three minutes into the second half

Jerman Defoe came back to haunt his old England boss Sven-Goran Eriksson by coming off the bench to deny Manchester City a place in the top four. Eriksson famously chose to take Theo Walcott rather than Defoe to Germany - and Tottenham gained some sort of revenge at White Hart Lane. With Spurs' top scorer Robbie Keane out for another two matches through suspension, he also offered head coach Juande Ramos an indication he is ready to step in.
